How To Add Water To An Electric Towel Rack
Nov 13, 2025
Confirm Installation Location and Securement: Before adding water, ensure the electric towel rack is correctly installed and secured according to the instructions. This typically involves drilling holes in the wall, installing the bracket and base, etc.
Water Addition Procedure:
Open the water inlet or water valve of the electric towel rack.
Use a suitable container (such as a kettle) to slowly add water to the inner cavity of the electric towel rack. Carefully control the water level; generally, it should be controlled between 90% and 95% full, ensuring the top horizontal tube is not filled with water to prevent overflow.
After adding water, gently shake the electric towel rack to expel internal air and check for leaks.
Install the air vent and temperature controller: After adding water, install the air vent on top of the towel rack and install the temperature controller at the bottom near the socket. These steps help ensure the normal operation and safe use of the electric towel rack.
Power-on test: After adding water, venting the air, and installing the temperature controller, connect the electric towel rack to a power source and observe whether the indicator light on the temperature controller illuminates. If the indicator light illuminates, the electric towel rack is working properly. At this point, you can adjust the adjustment knob on the temperature controller to the appropriate temperature as needed.
